UGC NET is the National Ability Test conducted by University Grant Commission (UGC). It is conducted to determine the eligibility for college and university level lectureship and to provide Junior Research Fellowship to the qualified candidates. UGC NET 2016 will be held twice in a year in the month of June and in the month of December. Candidates who possess master degree can apply for this test. UGC NET 2016 Notification

The University Grant Commission (UGC) is going to conduct the UGC NET 2016. The UGC will publish a notification for UGC NET 2016. When it will be announced we will provide you all the details here in our website. This examination is held twice in a year first in the month of June and second in the month of December. Interested candidates who want to apply for UGC NET 2016 which will be held in the month of June can fill the application form from its official website.

UGC NET Application Form

The UGC NET application/registration will going to start from January 2016. Candidates can apply from the official website of the UGC. The application/registraion for the UGC NET exam will be conducted online. Candidates can check more information on UGC NET eligibility and Exam pattern.

Eligibility Criteria for UGC NET 2016

Candidates who are willing to apply for UGC NET 2016 can check below the eligibility regarding educational qualification and age limit.

Educational Qualification

Candidates who want to appear in this examination mus have possessed Master’s degree with at least 55% of marks from a recognized university. Candidates who are appearing in the final year of Master degree can also apply.

Age Limit

Candidate’s age should be not more than 28 years as on the date of Notification. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the government rules.

How to Apply for UGC NET 2016

Interested candidates can visit to the official site to fill the application form. Details will be provided to you when the application form will be released.

First go to the official website and click on the application form. Fill the application form with all the necessary details. After filling the application form with all the required details upload your recent photograph and upload your signature. Then pay the fees through bank challan or you may pay the application fee through net banking.

Application Fees for UGC NET 2016

Candidates belonging to General category have to pay Rs. 600, those belonging to OBC category have to pay Rs. 300 and SC/ST/PWD candidates have to pay Rs. 150

Exam Pattern for UGC NET 2016

The UGC NET includes 3 papers. Each paper consists of objective type questions multiple choice questions (MCQ’s). Time duration for the first paper will be one and a half hour and for second paper will be two and a half hour. Candidates have to appear in all the three papers.

UGC NET Admit Card

The candidates who have appeared in the UGC NET 2016 June exam, can download their admit card from the official website of the UGC. The UGC NET admit card is likely to be available from few weeks before the examination date.

After the examination of UGC NET 2016 its result will be declared of the candidates who have cleared the examination. The UGC NET result can be checked from the official website.
