TS TET 2020 (Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test) exam is organized by Department of School Education, Government of Telangana. This exam is conducted once in a year in the month of June 2020.

TSTET Exam is conducted for those candidates who want to get appointed for the post of teacher in the state of Telangana.

TSTET Exam is divided into two papers, Paper-I and Paper-II. Paper-I is for the Primary Teacher (I-V) and Paper-II is for the Upper Primary Teacher (V-VIII). Candidates may apply for both the papers as per their choice.

TSTET 2020 Application Form

The application form of TSTET Exam will be available from 2nd week of June 2020. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying.

  • TSTET 2020 application form will be available through online mode.
  • Candidates need to fill the online application form, from the official website.
  • Candidates must fill all the required details in the application carefully.
  • Upload the scanned photograph and signature.
  • Candidate must take printout of application form.
  • TSTET 2020 application form ends in the 4th week of June 2020.

TS TET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Carefully read the eligibility criteria below before applying:

Nationality

  • The candidates must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit

  • Minimum age to appear for the TSTET is 21 years and should not more than 35 years.

Educational Qualification

For Paper-I

  • Candidates should have secured minimum 50% in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with-
  • qualified or appearing for the last year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Or

  • qualified or appearing for the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).

Or

  • qualified or appearing in the last year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

Or

  • HSC qualified (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 45% marks and qualified or appearing for the last years of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, as per the rules and regulations of NCTE.

Or

  • Graduate and also passed or appearing for the last year of their Diploma in Elementary Education and course duration should be 2 years.

For Paper-II

  • Candidates should have secured minimum 50% in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with-
  • qualified or appearing in last year of Bachelor in elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).

Or

  • qualified or appearing in last year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

Or

  • Complete graduation with at least 45% marks and also passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) as per the rules of NCTE(National Council for Teacher Education).

Or

  • Complete graduate and also should be appearing in the final year or qualified 2-year Diploma in Elementary education.

Or

  • Complete graduate with at least 50% marks and also qualified or appearing in 1 year B.Ed (Bachelor in Education) course.

Or

  • Graduate with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed (Special Education).

TS TET 2020 Exam Pattern

Check TSTET 2020 Exam pattern below for applying in primary and upper primary schools.

  • Exam mode: The exam will be in Offline mode (Pen and Paper).
  • Paper Language: Paper will be bilingual – English & Hindi.
  • Marks: PAPER- I or PAPER- II will be of 150 marks.
  • Time Duration:2½ hours will be given for PAPER-I OR PAPER-II.
  • Marking: No negative marking.
  • Type of Questions: Objective type (MCQ).
  • Each question in the paper will be of 1 mark.

Paper – I Exam pattern

Paper-I (Primary I to V) will be held for 150 marks and will contain 150 objective type  questions.

TS TET 2020 Admit Card

TS TET Exam admit card will provide essential information about exam, date, and time. Admit card can easily download from official website. You may check more details about the admit card below:

  • Candidates can download their TS TET 2020 Admit Card from official website on 1st – 2nd week of July 2020.
  • No Physical Admit Card will be available.
  • Candidates should carry Admit Card to the Exam Center.
  • Candidates must not forget their Admit Card on the day of the exam, otherwise he/ she will not be allowed to sit in the exam.
  • Once the admit card is downloaded, candidates need to check for discrepancy of information, if any, and report it to the exam authorities immediately for correction.

TS TET 2020 Cut Off

Candidates must gain minimum cut off marks for TS TET. The cut off marks for the previous year is mentioned in the table below:
