What is the role of GATE in PSU?
GATE (Graduate aptitude test in engineering) is an examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering. It is conducted jointly by IISc and seven IIT’s. It acts as the basis of candidates selection for post graduate engineering admission and screening for entry level engineering jobs in PSU’s and other related companies.
