KCET is one of the renowned state level entrance exams in Karnataka state. The examination is a gateway to various UG courses offered by various institutions located in Karnataka state. This examination not only invites to the Karnataka resident but also to the migrants of Jammu And Kashmir State. The KCET 2016 will be conducted by the Karnataka University under the supervision of Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). The KCET examination offers the government seats through various government and private colleges in Karnataka state.

KCET 2016 Eligibility Norms
Before applying for this examination candidates must go through the eligibility norms which are as following:
- The candidates must be completed the age of 17 years as on or before 31st December of the year of examination.
- The candidates must be belonged to the Karnataka state or having seven years of academic years from Karnataka state with Kannada language proficiency or must be a ward of Jammu & Kashmir migrant.
- Candidates those get the education or qualifying exam from any open board or university will not be eligible to apply for this examination.

KCET Application Form 2016
The KCET application form 2016 will be available via online mode only through the official site of the board. The form filling and fee remitting process will be done via online mode only. The application fee for this exam is Rs. 650/- (for general) or Rs. 500/- (for reserved) or Rs. 750/- (for candidates residing outside of state) or Rs. 5000/- (for candidates residing outside country) which will be remitted through the e-challan at the prescribed bank. Once filled the application form no changes will be allowed. Candidates should keep the copy of filled application form or confirmation page or declaration page for the further reference.

KCET Admit Card 2016
The admit card for KCET 2016 examination will be available for downloading on second week of April 2016 on the official site of the university/board. The admit card will not be sent to the candidates by post or any other mode excluding online only.
KCET Result 2016
The KCET result 2016 will be declared by the board during the last week of May 2016 through the officials of KCET exam. The result will be published followed with rank card issued by the board. The result can be obtained by entering the name and roll number of the candidates.
KCET Counselling 2016
During the second half of the month of June 2016, the board will declare the notification about KCET counselling 2016 through the official. The counselling will be done online only and the process will be included with document verification and allotment of seats. Passed candidates may avail the counselling procedure.
