IBPS PO 2019 Application form

Candidates shall know the following details about the application form:

  • The application process for IBPS PO will start from 7th August, 2019.
  • Candidates can apply through online mode only by visiting the official website www.ibps.in
  • After filling all the required details, candidates are required to re-recheck if all the details entered are true and correct.
  • Candidates shall also upload their photograph and signature according to the requirements.
  • A password and registration number will be send to their respective email IDs and then the candidates have to proceed to pay the online application fee.
  • The application fee for the recruitment is Rs. 600/- for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 100/– for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
  • Candidates shall take a print out of the application formand fee transaction receipt for future reference.

IBPS PO 2019  Eligibility criteria

Tofill any form, there are some criteria to be fulfilled by the candidates as is set by any exam conducting organisation and therefore IBPS PO Eligibility criteria as stated in the official website depends upon the nationality, age limit and educational qualification of the candidates.


  • Citizen of India or
  • The Subject of Nepal/Bhutan or
  • Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of settling in India permanently or
  • A person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, Malawi, Zambia) Zaire, and Vietnam came with the intention of settling in India permanently. He/she should have received the certificate of eligibility issued by the government of India.

Age limit

  • Minimum age – 20 years and Maximum age – 30 years
  • Relaxation is provided to the reserved categories in terms of upper age limit

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have a degree in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India OR any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.

IBPS PO 2019 Interview

The interview is the last yet very important part of a selection process so candidates shall know the following points about the interview process:

  • Candidates who get qualified in the mains examination are then called for the interview round.
  • The interview round consists of 100 marks out of which general/OBC candidates have to score 40% for getting selected while this percentage is reduced to 35% for SC/ST/PWD.
  • The selection panel ask direct questions from the selected candidates related to intelligence, integrity, their general interest, etc.
  • The candidates must be confident and shall carry all the required documents which are mentioned in the call letter.
  • The candidates whose name appears in the final merit list are issued the joining letter by the bank of their choice.
