XAT 2018 Registration

XAT 2018 registration process will start from 2nd week of August 2017. Candidates can apply for the exam through the online mode by visiting the official website of XAT. Candidate have to first register online and create their account, after registering candidates will get a unique XAT ID & password. Now candidates have to fill their personal, academic, other qualify details to complete the registration process. The complete registration procedure will be discussed after the commencement of application form.

Application Fee:

Candidates applying for XAT, may pay the application fee through the online mode by using debit or credit card or internet banking. The fee for XAT excluding XLRI programme is Rs. 1600. Those candidates who are interested in both XAT & XLRI programme they have to pay an additional fee of Rs. 300 for each programme.

XAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants who are interested in XAT 2018 must check XAT eligibility criteria before applying. The eligibility criteria is described below:

  • The candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute.
  • The bachelor’s degree should be minimum of 3 years.
  • Candidates appearing in the final year of their graduation are also eligible to apply provided they must complete their final exams by June, 2018.

XAT 2018 Exam Pattern

Here you can check the XAT 2018 exam pattern and marking criteria:

  • XAT exam is comprises of two section i.e. Paper 1 & Paper 2.
  • Paper 1 will comprises of question from decision making (24 question), Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation (27 question), Verbal and Logical Ability (21 question). Paper 2 will comprises of general knowledge (25 question) and essay writing (any one topic).
  • XAT exam will be conducted through pen & paper based mode.
  • The paper 1 will consist of 72 questions and paper 2 will consist of 25 questions & one essay topic.
  • Candidates will be given 170 minutes for paper 1 and 35 minutes for paper 2.

XAT Syllabus

The XAT 2018 syllabus will covers topics such as Decision Making & Analytical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation and General Knowledge. Candidates can practice the above mentioned topics and also focus on Group discussion and personality development.

XAT 2018 Admit Card

XAT 2018 admit card will be provided to the candidates through the online mode. The admit card will be available in the 3rd week of December. Admit card will contain the details of the candidate like their roll no., exam centre, date and timing of the examination and all other necessary information.

XAT 2018 Result

XAT 2018 result will be declared in the 4th week of January. Candidate can check the result through the online mode. After the result declaration candidates can apply for counselling and admission process.

XAT 2018 Selection Process

XAT Selection Process covers the counselling & admission process. Candidates are shortlisted by XLRI and other participating institutes on the basis of their cutoffs. The shortlisted candidates have to appear for the Written Ability Test, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview rounds at the institutes in which they have applied for admissions.
