SNAP 2016, SNAP Registration, Pattern and Syllabus

snap examSNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) 2016 will be conducted by the Symbiosis University, Pune. The examination will be conducted for the admission to various management courses (MBA) offered by Symbiosis University and its affiliated institutes. The examination will invite the application form from all Indian candidates.

Dates Schedule

The actual dates of SNAP 2016 are about to announced. Candidates should stay with us for updates. All below give dates are tentative as per the past experience.

SNAP Eligibility Norms

  1. The applicant should be passed graduation degree examination with any stream from any recognized university.
  2. The applicant should be obtained minimum 50% marks in graduation (40% in case of SC/ST candidates).
  3. Candidates those have completed the qualifying exam from any foreign university should obtain the equivalent certificate from AIU (Association of Indian Universities).
  4. Candidates come under the category of NRI/OCI/PIO or Foreign Nation may also apply for SNAP exam.

SNAP 2016 Registration

SNAP 2016 application form will be available on the official website of the university. The application can be made  via online only. Online registration will be available only on the official website on September 2015. The registration window will be opened for a long two months. The candidates will have to register with the official site and pay the registration fee.

How to Register for SNAP 2016

The candidates will have to visit the official site and click on the register link. A registration form will appear on the screen. Candidates will have to fill the entire details which would be required as per the given criteria then they would upload their scanned color photograph. Candidates will have to remit the application cum registration fee through the debit/credit card/ net banking/ e-Challan (Axis bank). The registration fee will be Rs. 1500/- only. The application fee would be filled in form of DD (Demand Draft) from any nationalized bank in favor of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune. After filling the application form and payment details, candidates should get the print out of filled application form and send (along with the Challan or DD if required) to the address given below:

SNAP 2016 Test Pattern and Syllabus

The SNAP exam syllabus will comprise of questions, from four sections like General English (Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, and Verbal Ability), Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency, (General Awareness: General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Business Scenario) and Analytical & Logical Reasoning. The maximum marks will be 180 that will be distributed as 40+40+40+60 pattern subsequently and the total number of questions will be 150 in the exam. The duration of the test is 2 hours and all questions will be of multiple type questions. Each wrong answer will be punished with 25% negative marks. The candidates will be suggested to use blue or black ball pen only.

SNAP Admit Card

The candidates can get the admit card for the SNAP 2016 examination from the official site of the university during the first week of December 2015 to third week of December 2015. The official and exact date for the downloading the admit card will be declared in the September 2015. The student should carry the admit card along with any photo identity (Passport, Driving license, College/Institute Identity Card, Credit card with photograph, Voter ID Card, Pan Card, AADHAR Card) to the exam centre at the time of the test. The candidates must paste the latest colored photograph in the given space in admit card and attested that by the Gazetted officer before appearing the exam. The candidates are advised to keep the admit card safe and secure till the admission is over. No duplicate admit card will be marked in case of lost.

SNAP Result

The result of SNAP 2016 will be released on the official site of the university in the 2nd week of January 2016. The result will be marked with a list of declared candidates shortlisted for the Personal Interview and Written Ability Test round.

Selection Procedure

The selection will be made by the score of exam and weightage of personal interview and written ability test that will be conducted after the results announcement. The PI and WAT will be taken only for those candidates who would have passed the SNAP exam 2016. The WAT consist of 15 marks and the selection will be done on the basis of SNAP exam result, WAP performance and past academic records.
