ESIC 2019 Registration Form

Candidates can fill the ESIC 2019 registration form after ensuring that they fill the eligibility criteria required for the vacancy. Following are the steps to fill the application & apply online:

  • Visit official website of ESIC www.esic.nic.in
  • Go to the online application form and fill the details correctly. No manual application is entertained.
  • You will also have to upload your scanned photo, left thumb impression and signature
  • Submit the form and pay the fee
  • Application fee is Rs 500 for General/OBC and Rs 250 for SC/ST/PWBD/Ex-servicemen. The fee is not refundable.
  • The fee can be paid through online mode (by net banking/credit card/debit card) only.
  • The e-mail entered by the candidates should remain valid for a period of at least one year as all the further correspondence is sent in it
  • Candidates are advised to read the instructions properly and take a print out of the registration slip generated by the system for further use
  • A hand written declaration in English only with candidate’s sign is also to be uploaded by the candidate.

ESIC Recruitment 2019 Eligibility of the candidates will be decided on the basis of educational qualification, age limit and nationality.

Educational Qualification and Age limit is summarized in the table below:

ESIC Recruitment 2019 Exam Pattern

ESIC Recruitment 2019 Exam is conducted online in two phases (stenographer) and three phases (UDC). Exam pattern may differ according to the post. The medium of examination will be Hindi/English. There is negative marking of 1/4th marks for each wrong answer.

ESIC Stenographer Computer Skill Test:

Stenography Test: The test will be for 10 minutes with a speed of 80 words per minute in English/Hindi and transcription of the same on computer for one hour. VH candidate will be required to transcribe the matter in 85 minutes (English Shorthand) & in 95 minutes (Hindi Shorthand).

The working knowledge of PWD Candidates who are unable to type will be assessed by holding an Objective Type Computer Test of 50 Marks with 50 Questions and no negative marking.

ESIC Recruitment 2019 Selection Procedure for Stenographer is:

  1. Mains Examination
  2. Computer Skill Test & Stenography Test

Phase I is qualifying in nature and marks obtained in that are not considered for final merit. The candidates are shortlisted for Phase II in the ratio of 1:10 that means 10 candidates will be shortlisted for one vacancy.

Selection procedure for UDC is:

  1. Preliminary Examination
  2. Mains Examination
  3. Computer Skill test

Only the marks that are obtained in the Mains Examination are considered for final Selection. The candidates will be shortlisted for Phase III in the ratio of 1:5, i.e. about 5 times the number of vacancy.

Mere passing marks are not sufficient to be selected for further process. Candidates are required to obtain minimum marks to get shortlisted for interview.

The ESIC Recruitment 2019 Result is declared in its official website and candidates can check it by entering their roll number in the site. Answer key is also released by the board few days before the result. The qualifying marks for each phase will be decided by ESIC.
