CMAT (Common Management Aptitude Test) 2016 will be conducted by the AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) for admission to various courses in the field of management like MBA (Master of Business Administration) and PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) offered by various B-Schools in India. This is an All India Entrance Exam which will be open to all candidates residing in India. The examination is held twice (January and August) in a year through online test. The examination will be scheduled to be conduct in 62 cities across the India.

CMAT 2016 Eligibility Norms
For PGCM, the candidates should be passed the graduation with any percentage and with any stream.
For other courses, candidates should be passed the graduation with any stream with 50% marks for general and 45% marks for reserved categories.
Candidates applying for Executive courses must have minimum of 5 years experience in relevant managerial or supervisory field in addition to the above educational qualification.
Students appearing the last year of qualifying exam will be eligible also to apply that exam.
CMAT 2016 Online Application Form
The application process for the CMAT 2016 examination will be asked via online only through the official site of AICTE. The candidates will have to make the registration via online by filling the initial details that will be required. After completion the registration process, candidates will have to go for the further process. In next stage the candidates will have to fill other personal and academic details including kwith the pre scanned photo (size 60Kb), signature (30Kb), valid email ID, valid contact No., valid payment card, printing device and good connectivity of internet. The candidates will have to fill the application fee as Rs. 1400/- for general and OBC or Rs. 700/- for SC/ST/PD candidates. Once filled the application form and pay the fee, the candidates may again modify the entries. Once submitted the application form no change can be made. The candidates will have to submit the application form via online and secure the confirmation page, registration number, 6 digit password and use ID for further reference.
The CMAT examination has been conducted two times in a year as in February and August. The examination is commenced as computer based test only via online. The computer and all needed material will be provided to candidates in the examination hall. There will be 100 MCQ with the maximum marks of 400 as 4 marks will be given to each correct answer while 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect answer. The duration of exam will be three hour and no interval will be given meanwhile.

CMAT Admit Card
The admit card will be available for downloading vi online from the official site and portal of CMAT in the third week of January 2016. The admit card will be generated to only accepted (registered) candidates. The admit card will contain the examination venue, time and dates. All candidates are required to bring the admit card to the examination hall.
Result date of CAMT 2016
The result will be released by official in the fourth week of March 2016 and will be available on the official site. After declaration result, the board will generate the score card calculated by the marks obtained by the candidates in CMAT exam. The admission will be done on the basis of these score card. The score card will be considered for admission in all AICTE approved institutions.
