 CSE 2019 application and exam dates has been released by UPSC. The application form for CSE will be available from 19th February, 2019

UPSC CSE 2019 Application Form

CSE (Civil Services Examination 2019) Notification has been released. The application form will be made available by 19th February, 2019 and last date to fill the application form will be 18th March 2019 . Candidates can apply through online mode only through the official website of UPSC. The mode of payment is online and offline both. Candidates willing to pay offline must take a printout of the system generated pay-in-slip during part II of the registration and deposit the fee at an SBI Branch counter on the next working day only. While the candidates willing to pay online must proceed as they will. The fee structure for male General and OBC candidates is Rs. 100/- whereas SC/ST/PWD/Female candidates do not have to pay the application fee.

CSE 2019 Eligibility Criteria

The following criteria must be fulfilled, before applying for Civil services 2019 application form:

Nationality

  • A citizen of India
  • A citizen of Nepal or a subject of Bhutan
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Educational Qualification

  • The candidate should have graduation degree from any stream a government recognized college or university or its equivalent.
  • Age Limit: Candidate’s age should be between 21 to 40 years to fill UPSC Civil Services 2019 Application Form.

CSE 2019 Exam Pattern

Candidates can check Civil services exam pattern to get familiar with the exam papers & type of questions asked in the previous years.  As it is said that half knowledge is harmful and in this competitive era before preparing for any exam one must be completely aware of the CSE exam pattern to be successful and to have the complete knowledge of the respective subjects. In the prelims their are 2 papers, Paper 1 is of General Studies and Paper 2 is of Aptitude test. Both the papers are of 200 marks each.

CSE Exam is conducted in offline mode and bilingual except English paper. The pattern of the written examination is as follows:

Civil Services Exam (CSE) Syllabus

The detailed CSE syllabus in regard to the exam is given below, Kindly make use of it and accordingly start preparing. There are two subjects in IAS Prelims.

1)  General Studies

2) Aptitude Test

General Studies: It includes basic topics of around the world like politics, sports, banking, awards, history and current affairs of last 6 months.General Studies

Aptitude test: Major topics include calculation and concept related questions.

And for mains deep knowledge of their respective subject is required.

CSE 2019 Admit Card

CSE Admit card is the important ticket for entering the examination hall. It is must to carry with the necessary documents. The admit card for the written exam of CSE 2019 comes in the month of May 2019 of prelims while for mains it comes in the month of October 2019. Candidates can download it through the online mode from the official website. To download the admit card candidate requires the registration no./ roll no.(the one generated while filling the form) and password/ date of birth.

CSE 2019 Result

CSE Result is the important part of the examination. It is the authentic step for the next level of examination. UPSC announces the result of the prelims in the month of last week of June and mains in the month of January 2020 . The cut off for all both may vary as per the performance of the candidates in the written exam. To check the result kindly, go through the official website. Candidates can view their result either using their roll no (using roll no and password) or in pdf format as provided by the Organisation.

Civil Services Exam 2019 Selection Procedure

The Selection of the candidates is done on the basis of their performance in written exam and interview . For the final selection candidate must have to pass the prelims and mains. Marks thus obtained by candidate in CSE Mains and Interview are considered for final selection.

The final scores of the candidate’s after their interview is calculated and overall merit is prepared. Thus, on the basis of final scores candidates are allotted All India Ranks, and the successful candidates are called for the training.
