Eligiblity Criteria

The aspirant must fulfill the following eligibility conditions in order to become a Commercial pilot:

  • The qualifying exam should pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • To join this course, one should join Air Flying Schools after 10+2.
  • 50% marks are the minimum marks to score in 12th class.
  • The minimum age should be 17 years to pursue this course.

Admission Criteria

The aspirants can join the course after qualifying the entrance exam conducted by Director General Civil Aviation (DGCA). Aspirants also need to clear the physical fitness test organized by the respective authority. The cost of this course is between Rs. 25-30 lakhs.

The admission are offered after qualifying class 12th with PCM subjects. Candidates may appear in the entrance test conducted by the various flying clubs. Some private institutions also offer direct admissions on the basis of 12th class merit.

Commercial Pilot Job Description

As a Commercial Pilot you have to work with Airlines companies as a pilot to passenger planes, cargo planes, Business Jets, Helicopters etc.

As a pilot you will be responsible for driving & navigating the planes  from one city to another within a given time period.

You have to check the overall condition of an aircraft before and after every flight.
